Yes, foreign students also have a pension contribution of 13.95 % deducted.

Until January 31, 2024, this contribution was 15.5 %, and from February 1, 2024, it was reduced to 13.95 %.

However, it is not deducted if the foreign student is already enrolled in mandatory pension and disability insurance elsewhere, provided they submit a valid certificate from a foreign institution, not older than 30 days, before the referral is issued.

Since February 1, 2015, student work is included in pension and disability insurance.

When you receive a payment, the difference between the net and gross amount is a 13.95 % pension contribution, which goes to the state and counts toward your pension period.

This contribution was 15.5 % until January 31, 2024, and was reduced to 13.9 5% from February 1, 2024.

If, as a student, you are already compulsorily pensioned and disabled on another basis (voluntary insurance, insurance based on self-employment, status of a member of the company or receipt of parental allowance...), please send us a decision so that the contribution will not be deducted.

Pensionable Service: Gained through work via the student service and counts towards retirement. It includes time from student work and regular employment.
Work Experience: Acquired through regular employment contracts.
